The Grief Center of Southwest Colorado is dedicated to meeting the needs of bereaved members of the community regardless of cultural and/or religious beliefs, manner of death, relationship to the deceased and ability to pay.
We offer bereavement services for children, teens and adults experiencing a loss in their lives, including traumatic death, using multi-modal interventions. Individual and group therapy, as well as special programs and children's and family camps are offered. We are a network of bereavement specialists serving Southwest Colorado; a Spanish-speaking therapist is available. We also offer community resources and organizational workshops on grief, loss and trauma-informed care and on-call intervention response for schools and community organizations. We are the home of Heartbeat, a support group for survivors of suicide, and GRASP (Grief Recovery After Substance Passing.)
What’s up next:
We are expanding our services to meet the needs of the community, including special programs for children and teens, support for bereaved college students and outreach to neighboring communities.
